Slime Mold Bloom

A colony germinates at the center of the canvas and branches outward, the way a real slime mold's plasmodium grows: veins extend from the edge of the mass, thicken where traffic is heavy, and fade where it's not. Your microphone and, if you plug one in, a MIDI controller are the only controls, no toggles. Sing, play, or both: notes are synthesized live, mixed with your mic, and analyzed the same way, so loud/bassy sound and hard-played notes both feed the colony and make it grow faster.

This needs mic access to analyze sound. If you have a MIDI controller (keys, pads, knobs), plug it in - it's auto-detected. Nothing is sent anywhere; analysis happens live in your browser, and nothing is recorded unless you press Record.
